no i have not been to Australia i would like to and the photo was taken in a park type thing were different types of birds are :)

I hope you make it here one day. All of our swans are black. They are lovely but lack the purity of the white ones to look at I think. Perhaps the colour protects them from the sun though. You'd love a park near my home - all the wild parrots come to be hand fed. The ice cream van at the park sells birdseed as well as ice creams :nod:

I took this photo [link] there. I was only standing about a metre away from him. We also get pink and grey gallahs and white cockatoos come to feed from your hand and in the evenings the kangaroos often come to be hand fed birdseed too. The kookaburras can be heard but keep their distance.
